Sublim: Jurnal Pendidikan invites researchers, educators, practitioners, and scholars to submit original manuscripts in the field of arts and arts education. The journal provides an academic platform for publishing both research-based and non-research-based studies that contribute to the advancement of artistic knowledge, pedagogical innovation, and cultural understanding.
The journal’s scope covers fine arts and performing arts, including dance, music, puppetry, and karawitan, as well as interdisciplinary studies linking arts education with culture, history, technology, curriculum development, learning strategies, assessment, and community engagement. Manuscripts that integrate theoretical perspectives with practical applications are particularly encouraged.
Sublim emphasizes academic rigor, originality, and critical analysis. Submitted manuscripts may take the form of empirical research articles, conceptual papers, literature reviews, case studies, reflective analyses, and innovative pedagogical practices in arts education. Non-research manuscripts are accepted provided they demonstrate clear academic value, coherence, and methodological or conceptual clarity.
The journal is published biannually (April and October) by Universitas Muhammadiyah Enrekang, in collaboration with AP2SENI (Asosiasi Program Studi Pendidikan Seni Drama, Tari, dan Musik se-Indonesia). This collaboration strengthens the journal’s scholarly network and ensures relevance to national developments in arts education.
With E-ISSN 2985-5357, Sublim: Jurnal Pendidikan adheres to ethical publication standards, peer-review integrity, and continuous quality improvement in line with national and international academic norms. Authors are expected to submit original, unpublished work that is not under consideration elsewhere.
By publishing in Sublim, authors contribute to the preservation, innovation, and transformation of arts education, while engaging in scholarly dialogue that bridges research, pedagogy, and artistic practice at local, national, and global levels.
