Abstract
Legal aspects are a vital component in a business feasibility study that serves to ensure the sustainability of business operations through compliance with laws and regulations. Non-compliance with legal aspects can result in legal sanctions, fines, and even business closure, so that legal aspect analysis is a priority in business planning. This study aims to analyze the role of legal aspects in determining the feasibility of a business and identifying the documents and procedures required for a business to operate legally. This study uses a descriptive approach with literature analysis of documents related to business licensing, legal regulations, and legislation. Data sources come from national and regional regulations relevant to the establishment and operation of businesses in Indonesia. The results of the study show that legal aspects focus on fulfilling location permits, deed of establishment, taxpayer identification number (NPWP), company registration certificate (TDP), and other relevant documents. Each type of business has different legal requirements, depending on the complexity of the business and the location of the business. Failure to meet these legal requirements can lead to legal conflicts and business closure. In addition, business legality also functions as a means of legal protection, promotion, and business development through easier access to funding. Legal aspects are an important initial step in a business feasibility study. Compliance with regulations not only ensures operational feasibility but also provides protection and enhances the credibility of the company
