Abstract
Legal reform in Indonesia since the fall of the New Order has brought significant changes to the legal system and human rights protection. This journal analyzes how these legal reforms have impacted human rights protection, the challenges encountered, and opportunities for further improvement. The study employs a qualitative method, including document analysis and interviews with legal experts and human rights practitioners. This journal analyzes recent developments in legal reform and human rights implementation, as well as the main challenges that hinder progress. On the other hand, it also identifies existing opportunities to improve legal and human rights conditions through participation, community reform institutions, and increased transparency. By providing in-depth insights into these dynamics, it aims to provide strategic recommendations to encourage further progress in the field of legal reform and human rights protection in Indonesia
