Abstract

This research examines the implementation of Indonesia's Free and Active Politics in facing global challenges in countries in conflict using a qualitative descriptive literature study research method. Free and Active Politics is a basic principle of Indonesian foreign policy which emphasizes impartiality and an active role in maintaining world peace. Through analysis of related literature and journal documents, this research explores how Indonesia utilizes this principle in conflict mediation, participation in UN peace missions, and diplomacy in international forums. The research results show that Indonesia faces various challenges such as geopolitical pressures, limited resources, and the complexity of internal conflicts in the countries concerned. Nonetheless, a consistent approach and commitment to global peace allows Indonesia to play a significant role in conflict resolution. This research provides insight into the effectiveness and challenges of implementing Free and Active Politics as well as Indonesia's contribution to international stability and security.
