Strategies For Establish Student’s Religious Character Through Reciting the Qur’an Before Studying

Abstract

This research is descriptive qualitative research which aims to determine the strategy for establish the students religious character through reciting the Quran before studying. The research subjects were students of SMP Negeri 2 Maniangpajo grade VIIA and grade VIIB. Procedure of collecting data using interviews and observation sharing. Based on the result of data analysis and discussion of research, it concluded that the importance of implementing a strategy for establish the students religious character through reciting the Quran before studying in SMP Negeri 2 Maniangpajo Wajo Regency in order to have a general positive result being diligent in recite Al Quran, and trying to memorize some surah/verse of the Al Quran
